Following the manufacturer’s schedule

Inspection

Stamped in your service book. We tell you beforehand what is due and what it costs.

Every two years

Safety inspection (HU/AU)

The TÜV inspector comes to our shop twice a week. We fix small defects right away, so you do not have to come back.

Pads under 3 mm

Brake service

We check pads, discs and brake fluid. We only replace parts when the measurement says so.

Depending on the interval

Oil service

Fresh oil and a new filter, in the specification your manufacturer approves.

Before summer

Air conditioning service

We check the system for leaks, refill the refrigerant and replace the cabin air filter. Even an intact air conditioning system loses some refrigerant every year.

After a pothole

Wheel alignment

We set toe and camber. Otherwise the car pulls, and new tires wear unevenly before you notice. More about wheel alignment

After windshield or suspension work

Driver assistance calibration

We realign camera and radar so that lane keeping assist and emergency braking look where they should again. More about calibration

At 80,000 km at the latest

Shock absorbers

Worn shocks make your braking distance noticeably longer. We check them during every wheel change.

Exhaust system

Exhaust service

We replace a single clamp just as well as the complete system.

Stone chips

Glass service

We repair small stone chips as long as they are not in your field of view. We handle the paperwork with your insurance.

Especially in winter

Battery service

We test, charge or replace the battery. In winter, it is the most common cause of breakdowns.

Before your road trip

Vehicle check

Before the trip, we check brakes, tires, fluids, lights and suspension.

After damage

Accident repair

We repair the damage and handle the correspondence with your insurance.

If something is missing here, ask us through the workshop request or by phone. If we do not do something ourselves, we will tell you right away.

How we work

Suspension The strut holds the spring and the shock absorber. We check the shocks during every wheel change, because worn shocks make your braking distance longer.

Wheel alignment We measure the axles with a Hunter Hawkeye Elite and set toe and camber to the manufacturer’s values.

Balancing After mounting, every wheel goes on the balancing machine.

Tire mounting On the tire changer, a colleague fits the tire onto the rim. We take care that the rim does not get scratched.

Wheel alignment and calibration on our premises

Wheel alignment and calibration need expensive measuring equipment. Many smaller workshops send their customers elsewhere for this. We have the equipment here.

After a windshield replacement, suspension work or body damage, lane keeping assist and emergency braking need to be realigned. We do it ourselves instead of sending you elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does my manufacturer’s warranty stay valid?

Yes. We do maintenance and inspections according to the manufacturer’s specifications, with an entry in the service book (digital ones too), in our master workshop.

Which brands do you work on?

All car brands and models, including electric cars and hybrids. Not at our shop: vans over 3.5 tons, motorhomes and motorcycles.

Can I have the safety inspection (HU/TÜV) done at your shop?

Yes, by appointment. TÜV does the inspection at our shop, the inspector comes twice a week. We fix small defects right away.
